CUBE is seeking full-time experienced Purchasing Representatives to join our growing team of procurement specialists. In this role you will be working closely with Cube’s SMEs (Semiconductor Market Experts) and Supply Chain Management to provide timely feedback and market intelligence on sourcing opportunities in support of our customer requirements. This position is responsible for direct interface with Cube’s supply-side partner network and requires the ability to effectively negotiate pricing, conduct component analysis and research, understand market & product trends that impact availability, manage logistics/scheduling, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Develop/maintain assigned vendor base to ensure conformance to Cube’s rigorous quality requirements
- Continual identification and qualification of vendors
- Resolution of transaction discrepancies (i.e. Pricing, Quantity, Condition, Ship/Receipt Date, etc.)
- Daily updating of availabilities in Cube Trade Exchange system
- Acquiring regular excess inventory feeds from global supplier network
- Clearly define competitive landscape and overcome obstacles to secure product support
- Provide timely/relevant information to Cube SMEs and SC Managers
Desired Skills and Proficiencies
- Proficient in MS office suite with exceptional data analysis skills in Excel and/or other Data Analytics applications
- Effective working within a team-oriented dynamic
- Highly organized with proven ability to effectively communicate (written/verbally) to both internal/external customers
- Ability to acquire/analyze/interpret technical industry data relative to job function
- Experience sourcing Computer Products & Peripherals, Storage, Memory, Chipsets, CPUs a plus
- Extremely customer-oriented and service-minded
- Tireless work ethic
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience of 3-5+ years
- General working knowledge of electronics distribution supply chain
- Comprehensive understanding of OEM/EMS industry
- Prior industry experience with a proven track record of success in developing sustainable supply-side relationships
