CUBE is seeking a full-time experienced Global Business Development Manager to join our strategic account development team. In this role you will be working closely with Cube senior management, Trade operations and Director of Supply Chain to support the build-out of our global account customer base. This is a highly visible role requiring regular contact with existing/targeted strategically important customers and you will need to possess a keen business acumen and comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations to be successful in this position. Additional Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain and nurture an assigned strategic customer base in support of Sales/Purchasing teams
- Update Cube Trade Exchange system with all relevant data for strategic account customer acquisition and management activities
- Identify and clearly communicate supply chain decision dynamic of assigned OEM/EMS customers to attain preferred supplier/customer status
- Create, build, sustain customer advocacy and develop critical relationships with key decision-makers/influencers/ratifiers/evaluators
- Define effective account acquisition and growth strategies for review with senior management
- Effectively communicate and present CUBE products, services and value proposition
- Attain all company goals/objectives for account acquisition and revenue targets
- Generate detailed monthly/quarterly business performance reports for all assigned accounts to ensure efficacy of services and guide penetration efforts of account team
- Conduct regular internal business/pipeline reviews with assigned team
- Attend customer Quarterly Business Reviews
- Provide Business Meeting Summaries to senior management
- Assist with resolution of customer service issues/complaints as appropriate
- Comply with company travel policies and budgeting guidelines
Desired Skills and Proficiencies
- Proficient in MS office suite with exceptional data analysis skills in Excel and/or other Data Analytics applications
- Effective working within a team-oriented dynamic
- Highly organized with proven ability to effectively communicate (written/verbally) to both internal/external customers
- Ability to acquire/analyze/interpret technical industry data
- Understanding of Target Account Selling methodologies a plus
- Extremely customer-oriented with a consultative sales style and exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record and reputation for developing sustainable revenue streams with strategic level customers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in similar global business development role
- Intimate working knowledge of electronics distribution supply chain
- Experience with managing Global/Strategic level accounts within electronics distribution industry
- Comprehensive understanding of OEM/EMS industry and related supply chain disciplines
- Ability to travel globally in support of business development activities
